We are reading a book called, The One And Only Ivan. We have now finished the book, we read it (almost) every snack. The book was about a gorilla named Ivan and he thought his home was horrible and wanted to leave to the zoo but his friend Stella passed away. A new elephant named Ruby came, and Ivan made a promise to Stella to to care of her and protect her. Stella was waiting to take care of her but now Ruby’s really sad about Stella. One day Ivan painted a big puzzle that said, home. Ivans human friend Julia Called her dad’s boss and said take Ivan and Ruby to the zoo. Everyone was protesting. The next day Ivan and Ruby went to the zoo. With his friend Bob, Julia, And George (Julia’s dad) He thought his home was nice and didn’t want to leave even if he had to but he got a liking to the zoo. I know everyone will remember that book. The purpose was to make movies in your mind (visualize) and to make you smarter.

How you find it is you do diameter x 3 whatever that equals is the circumference.the purpose of it was its math and we did it in math class.And if you did it with out interrupting you will a bubble party.

This Tuesday we had our winter concert. The bears and the tigers performed 4 songs. They sang seven feet of snow,Edelweiss,Jolly Old Saint Nicholas on their recorders and Phool lu ka ta loka. The harmonizers were great. The 3rd graders were excellent and the 4th graders were good.
