Mars is a cold and dusty planet with big sand dunes and deep craters. There’s no air to breathe and no water to drink, so living there is very hard.

Explorers need a spaceship, spacesuit, and shelter to stay alive. They must check their oxygen, stay near their base, and never take off their helmets outside.

Mars has useful things too! Soil can help grow plants, iron and rocks can make tools, and ice caps can be melted for water. If explorers use these wisely, they might survive on the Red Planet!
