Made in the Dead Sea

Hello! My name is leen. I will talk about my wonderful visits to the Dead Sea, and what I have learned about it. I have visited the Dead Sea twice. The Dead Sea is a salt lake bordered by Jordan to the east and Palestine to the west. It is the saltiest body of water on Earth. It is located at the lowest point on Earth; almost 400 meters below sea level.
 Unfortunately, the Dead Sea is shrinking. The surface level is dropping more than a meter a year. Also, water sports and activities such as diving and snorkelling are not possible there. However, there are other activities that are practiced very often there, such as jogging and running Have you heard of the “Dead Sea Marathon?” The Dead Sea is a national treasure. It contains minerals like sulfide, magnesium, Potassium, chlorine, and bromine. Those minerals are used to make skin care products and cosmetics. For example, they make facial masks, shampoos, and hand creams. Those products are manufactured in Jordan. I think we should always encourage our national industry and buy the Dead Sea.
