Invasive species are non-indigenous, meaning that they are not originally from the native area and come from somewhere else. These organisms adapt really fast to the environment and begin to reproduce rapidly. Invasive species also outcompete native species for resources. They tend to destroy habitats where other native animals usually live as well.
