In 1967, there was farmland next to the shops in the east, however, this was replaced, a hotel with a pool and 2 tennis courts was built in particular. The fish market in front of the tennis courts was knocked down and make into a private beach. The marina and pier to the left of the fish market were no longer in 2001, and instead of the addition of a public beach.

Besides, the shops on the right hand of the high street were renovated into apartments. Although the golf course next to the buildings was still maintained, the opposite hotel was upgraded with a new car park and a cafe as doing as in 1967.​​ In 2001, the dunes on the western side of the area remained undemolished, but wind turbines were added, as opposed to 1967.

There were no changes in the shop to the West of the High street, as opposed to the shop to the East of it which was transformed into apartments. What is more, several wind turbines were constructed to the South of dunes, directly opposite the sea. The golf course has remained the same, similarly, the cafe has been untouched in the heart of the city.

Overall, it is clear that Felixstone town experienced the spectacular alteration after 44 years and we can observe that Felixstone was substantially facilitated for tourism.

The first map shows what Felixstone looks like in 1967. First of all, the northeast of Felixstone was covered with farmland, which is opposite to the fish market. Nearby there is High street located between two blocks of shops to serve as a way. The golf course played next to the shops. In addition, many trees were planted not far away from dunes on the southwest of Felixstone. There is a hotel on the right side of the dunes. The northeast of the hotel is a cafe. Besides, a pier is put to divide the beach into two sides separating the hotel and coffee shop to the marina and fish market.

To begin, in 1967, there was a huge farmland located next to shops to the east of High street. This area had been completely converted and built into a new hotel with a swimming pool and two tennis courts in 2001. A block of apartments has been constructed just east of the High street opposite of the row of shops. In addition to this, the land in front of this new hotel on the beachside , previously a fish market, was torn down to make way for a private beach.

The pier was removed to make room for the public beach in 2001. Furthermore, they built a large car park next to the hotel. Between the dunes and the sea, a system of wind turbines was established in 2001.
