Examples of this are: Dickens, Eliot, Tennyson, and the Brownings. Many magazines were also created where each month authors could share their essays, articles, and poems on different topics, In this way the authors had the opportunity to launch their careers as writers or poets.

Also throughout the Victorian Era, literature's influence on society grew as reading transformed into a communal activity, as evidenced by the rising literacy rate.

Many poets and writers were experimenting with various elements to be able to tell their stories as consequences of this experimention the result was:
 - Long narrative poems (epic poems).
- The dramatic monologue.
and these two can be seen in the works of Robert Browing. but as well there was two minor literary movements such as:
-The Pre-Raphaelites (1848-1860)
-The Aestheticism and Decadence movement (1880-1900).

It continued to advance and finally took over as the primary form of written communication.  

Realisticism, which was a relevant literary element of the time and was well-known in the novel's framework combined Romantic subjectivity and Augustan objectivity.
