My dad passed away in 2015, which was heartbreaking, but my mom has always been the biggest support system for me. I have an older sister who is disabled, but with the happy energy and laughter that comes from her is the greatest feeling in the world because it makes you see that there is so much more to appreciate. I have an older brother who is married, but whenever I see him he always manages to make me laugh. It has been the best change for me as I can create my own schedule and be with dogs all day! It also gives me a lot of time to be active and enjoy the outdoors. There was lots to do and it was a great opportunity to spend time with loved ones. We went to Mall of America and the aquarium that is inside. We had the opportunity to do a variety of activities while being there and I hope I have the chance to go again. I played Rugby for a long time and still try to remain active. If I want to relax I enjoy spending my time drawing or trying to do something crafty. I have always enjoyed helping people and I think that at the teenage level there is so much that they can be going through and having someone that they can confidently turn to is one of the best options. I chose to minor in education because I want to know some of the stuff that could be going on in the classrooms or school environment when a child comes to me.
