         <description><![CDATA[<p>In 1961, a group of Black and White civil rights activists created the "Freedom Rides". The group left Washington D.C. on May, the 4 in 1961 to New Orleans, in Alabama. There, they had to face brutal violence. Thanks to the Freedom Riders, people saw the power of peaceful protest and it's the end of segregation in bus stations.</p><p>Amélia et Eloane</p>]]></description>
