Really grateful for the friendships I've been able to make this year. These people pointed me to God and supported me through thick and thin. Showing me what it means to live not alone but with others and with God. Was able to be intentional with people and in this year of transition, was able to be intentional with the people around me. I know that it's God who brought them into my life!!

I praise God for all the highs and lows of 2023. It definitely had one of the highest highs and lowest lows in my life but through it ALL God has been constantly good, constantly loving, constantly faithful and CONSTANTLY IN CONTROL. I praise God for Him being Him and reminding me time and time again through His words, through the people around me and even through the nature and His paintings ✨🌊 hehe PTL💗

I wanna praise god for all the infertility ppl we were able to meet this year that made my uni life sm better even tho the year was also p hectic for me, but I was able to learn a lot and make lots of memories!!

Heyy Christscendo fam!! Can you believe it: A full semester elapsed in the blink of an eye hey?! Well, I just wanna take a moment here to say, well... THANKYOU. Thank you for showing me what friendships can be and how beautiful uni live may be despite 'uni of stress and tension' ringing in my ear 24/7 lol. Thank you for making my world less of lonely place than it was, and infinitely better. Glad that I am surrounded by friends who are willing to share, listen, and support one another. And I am looking forward to what God may guide us next year. And hopefully know the rest of the off campus ppl better, maybe can join us seasiders too after wed lg LOLOL but for now have a great break yall:))

This year has been packed with new experiences that have been amazing and scary to say the least. Writing my final high school IB exams, the old lads tellin each other that we’ll meet again in the future as we go our separate ways to pursue higher education, and finally getting settled in a daunting new academic environment - UST…

All throughout, my family and friends have been there to support me and I am so grateful for all the blessings the Lord has poured out on me. I praise him for a smooth year in helping with all the new territories of my life I ventured into. PRAISE THE LORD in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

Praise God for showing me His love and Faithfulness

This year has been a theme of God showing me of how unconditional His love is and how powerful He can work. It was through all these different people that I’ve met in LIFE group, I was able to see the conviction and the love that can only come from God. Grateful for all the times that these people showed me how wrong I was in my own ways of thinking about this world and how it works. Grateful for all the times these people showed selfless love and pointing me back to God. Even after accepting Christ, God followed through with things that are beyond my expectations. I never knew that I will be able to serve and I never knew that somehow God would change my heart to care for others. All in all, God has worked powerfully this year and He has worked through all these different relationships that challenged me to continue to seek after Him.

God has been faithful in 2023. It was definitely not an easy year, but He has been constantly reminding me of my worth through different things and people. 2023 is a year full of care, commit and challenge not only from people around me, but from God as well. I have mixed feelings closing out 2023, and I want to believe that God is going to work more abundantly that I could ever imagine in 2024.

I wish to praise God for once again sending me through His fire, this time making me revived with pure love.

Through His fire I was made stronger, more loving, cherishing the beauty of nature, friendship, family relationship and the enjoyment of doing what I am truly passionate about. I am so thankful that He led me to Life Group, to Harvest Mission Community Church, to be able to meet people who love me by heart, and encourage me to love myself, and love those around me. After my connection with God and Lord has been invoked the moment when I was at school, I changed to someone brand new, a person who doesn't please others to love me, but one who make other people joyful and one who is able to feel their joy simultaneously, and eventually to delight myself.

Thank you, God, for bringing Christscendo to me and me to Christscendo, to fill my heart with peace and love, to revive me with passion to pursue what I truly enjoy, and to enable me to spread love to those around me.

Praise God for the people that He has placed in my life this year...

This year has been a difficult year, with setbacks, struggles and failures. But through it all, God was present and I experienced His grace and mercy time and time again. Without fail, God placed different people in different seasons of my life. All of them pointed me back towards God. They encouraged and challenged me in my own relationship with God. I am blessed to have these friendships and the opportunity to journey together with them in our own spiritual walk with God. Without these people and without God, this year definitely would have been even more challenging. I am remember at the start of 2023, one of my goals was to have deeper and more intentional relationships with people and looking back, I am glad that God has opened up these doors for me. I am thankful for 2023 and looking forward for all that God will continue to do in the upcoming season!! - Ethan Khor

Consistent and Disciplined! - cindy

As I was looking back on my 2023, I realised that I've been very easily swayed and affected by the circumstances, different things that happen causes me to waver in my faith and become discouraged in different areas of my life.

So this year, I want to focus on being *consistent and disciplined* in my life. To build consistent habits to deepen my vertical relationship with God and be His witness in my relationships with others.

My identity is in God and nothing else!

Going into the rest of 2024, I want my identity to be rooted in who Jesus says I am.

As I was reflecting on 2023, I realized how easy it was for me to be influenced by results and circumstances. I constantly tried to prove myself, fearing failure and looking bad in front of others.

In 2024, I want to hold onto Colossians 3:12, where it says that I am "holy and beloved" -- and that is the reason behind everything I'm doing. To be compassionate, kind, humble, meek and patient in the way I live as a way to glorify God. A year where I will no longer worry about results, achievements or my self-image; but be fully secured in who Jesus says I am.

I realize that I tend to follow God's will when it is easy on me and if it does not hold big consequences. I always tend to struggle with openly sharing about my faith. This year, I plan to open up more (little by little) and strengthen my relationships with people who can hold me accountable to living out my faith.
