         -> Rising sea levels and increased risk of coastal flooding.
         -> Ice acts as a mirror and cools the earths temperature. If the ice is melted, the heat stays trapped in the earths surface.

2) Changing ocean currents
        -> Sea ice formation produces dense saltwater that sinks which drives deep ocean currnets. 
        -> The ocean currents also effect the air currents.  

3) More severe floods, heatwaves,     droughts and storms
        -> Redistribution of rain
        -> Damage and destruction of infrastructure and property.

4) Loss of land
       -> Desertification

5) Changed food production
         -> Availability of water and heat are altered.

6) Changes in illness and disease risks
        -> Increase in skin cancers

    ->  From burning fossil fuels such as coal, oil, gas, wood and peat.

   -> From petrol and diesol in transport, electricity from heating industries, clothes such as polyester and also plastic.
   
  -> From land use change such as agriculture and deforestation.
