From King Georges view point, he would probably say... I think these rules about the stamp act are very fair. I feel that since they did not work hard, they should have to pay taxes on some of their things. We are  also trying to raise money from the French and Indian war that we had lost. They also made a lot of damage so a lot of this money will be put toward our messed up things.

I am so mad the king makes us fight war and then we have to pay taxes for articles. Also this is not fair that we worked hard enough for are king even though were British citizens we should not be controlled this much it's just not right. Maybe we should do a boycott and fight for us citizens. An then the king may agree with us hopefully. Or we don't do his taxes and let him see how it feels not to get payed. I believe we can fight are own king, so we don't have to pay.

From king Georges view point I thing it is very fair. The whole stamp act started becuase of the war that they helped us in so they should pay for the damge they did. Also they don't work that hard so they should pay a little extra for the items they buy like dice. Also we need money so the next time there is a war we can protect us and the colonist. The taxes are very fair and the colonist should except it.

Colonist point of View
I am very angry and mad that we are being forced by the king to fight war and then we have to pay. We worked a lot and very hard. just because we are the British people, we should not be pushed around by the king. we have to fight for ourselves! i believe we can fight out king and not have to pay the taxes!!!!!

I am a colonist and I do not think that this far the king cannot do whatever he wants just because he can. We are not his toys and I will not tolerate this, it is unacceptable.He should not make us pay taxes after we helped him win the war.
All of us colonist need to take a stand, this is making me mad and angry

King George III thinks he is the rulemaker and thinks he can control us. He is on the other side of the ocean and there are no cameras that watch us.

King George III point of view:
I think it is quite fair that the colonists pay taxes on sending letters, ads, speeches, etc... The colonists fought in the French and Indian war with us so why can't they help pay for the damages they helped create? Why should we pay for it all? We have to much money to pay off and they only have to contribute a few pence and/or shillings.

I think that this Stamp Act is preposterous! We shouldn't have to pay taxes for our every day wants! The King should also let a colonist be in the government to represent us. First we help win the war, then we have boundaries on the new land and now this! It's bad enough that they sent soldiers in to watch our every move! Next their going to move in to our houses and make sure we don't have a late night snack! Preposterous! Preposterous I say!

I am going to be typing from the POV of a colonist.

This is so unfair. We helped them with the war and now we have to pay taxes so Britain can get their money back. This is so unfair. We risked our lives to help them and we get rewarded (not really) with taxes. EXTREMELY UNFAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The stamp act was one of the main reasons the American Revolution broke out. The stamp act was a way for the British to pay for the French and Indian war. The way they did that was to put stamps on newspapers, almanacs, magazines, etc. that make them expensive and the money the colonists pay for them goes to the damage from the war.

I think that the stamp act was crazy because everything we do the king gets money for. also we helped you win the war, in my mind if there was a time machine I would go back before the war started and tell everyone not to if you keep this up. we know that you don't want a war with the indians but i think you will have a war with us.
