Today we talked about making a project. It made dream about school where this kind of things would a routine and there would always happening some project here or there. I think Finnish are to loyal to curriculum and always complaining there are not time to do anything extra. But as we learned during this course it is not something extra. You can learn so much outside the classroom aswell.

Today we talked about projects, we came to the conclusion that it is very nice to work with this method, because it teaches cooperation, critical thinking and creativity. We talked about our activities during the lessons in terms of key competences. We ate a delicious dinner together and saw another amazing place, the end of the world.

Today at school I learned to create international projects. The most important thing is that such a project is realistic to be realised and has a specific goal. After returning to my school, I would like to discuss with the principal the possibility of creating a project where the most important goal will be to get to know the partner country in terms of culture, tradition, exchange of experiences and language improvement.

I've been to Guadeloupe before and of course I didn't miss the Pointe des Châteaux. This time, however, I was up there with two of my children and Rita. And I really enjoyed the moment.

When we talked about Erasmus+ projects today, I noticed that the Franco-German movements, which have been carried out since 1963, are essential for bilateral relations, but that the form of implementation has lost its modernity over time. We should move on to carrying out the exchanges that are already taking place in a project-oriented manner. In this way, the time for the students can be used even more intensively. The keyword here is key competences.

Key competencies have been established and defined by the EU. They are the key to participation in society. Promoting these is part of the educational mission of schools.
Each participant was asked to develop and present an example of a predefined competence that could be used to promote it. I saw that it often takes only a small amount of resources and some creativity to be successful.

The main topic of today's unit were the key competencies that the EU has defined and that every student should have. Presentations by the participants showed how and through which activities they could be taught in everyday school life.
The excursion to Pointe des Châteaux was very impressive. Again, the power of nature became very clear.

Today I learned new ways to motivate students to learn about the environment and sustainability. Our colleagues from Germany and Poland had excellent ideas about the project. Key competences were not new to me though, we have talked a lot about them in Finland and they are implemented in our national curriculum.
I also learned more about Erasmus and eTwinning.
We went to see the waves on Pointe de chateaux, and they were magnificent. The raw power of nature takes my breath away every time.
