In our education system, rubrics are synonymous with knowledge assessment criteria. I use in my work a similar form with clearly defined criteria for an objective assessment of knowledge. Each student can familiarize themselves with these criteria to understand the formation of the assessment methodology. This creates a level playing field for all students.

I use the rubrics very often.For me, the rubrics acquire maximum importance in an education of "learning by doing".
It is the way in which we communicate to our students the different elements that we are going to evaluate - or even self-evaluate themselves - and the different levels of concreteness.In the same place we specify what they are going to learn and what they should know or do to do it in the best way.
For teachers, it helps us to evaluate not only the knowledge itself, but also skills, competencies, processes, etc.Everything to which we give importance in the classroom and in the course of the subject.

With 1 hour/week (45-50 min) of ICT, and students working in groups on computers, it's not obvious to use rubrics. Though, they are very important for self-evaluation. At primary schools, just before the end of the course, I ask them to evaluate both their work from 1-5 individualy and their cooperation. If there is a problem, I take a note so we can talk about this week. The goals (never more that 3)are set at the beginning of the lesson.

The rubrics are a good work tool at all levels: the teacher must take decisions when doing it and being clear that he evaluates, for the student is clear that the teacher asks and allows him to do a self-evaluation that can be the starting from the teacher's feedback. I like the rubrics to evaluate very specific contents such as an exhibition of a poster or model, an oral presentation of a proposed or similar topic.

Rubrics are an excellent assessment instrument. I use it for example to assess teamwork, oral presentations, posters... Rubrics are a great idea! I haven't heard of them before, but they seem like an excellent and efficient way of letting my students know what to expect, and elliminating the need to assign points to arbitrary parts of an assignment in pursuit of fair grading. I have never used rubrics in my own teaching practice, but they might be very useful. They might help me save time and be more objective with my students. They might lead me to make explicit all the criteria used for the assessment. Having said that, It might be interesting to consider also the individualised/personalised aspects of our feedbacks. Not all the students make the same mistakes and their initial knowledge of the topic might be different. Furthermore, some of the students might require different types of corrections that have different order of priority: I am thinking about students who are dyslexic or dyscalculic or even L2 students whose mother tongue is not the the usual language of instruction.

I usually conceive of learning activities as containing a process and a product. The product is a production that can be done individually or collaboratively and the process is done collaboratively. After designing the task, I select four or five items for evaluation (self-assessment or co-assessment). After the assessment, with my guidance, each student reflects on his or her strengths and aspects that should be improved from a formative assessment perspective.

While rubrics provide a good starting point and make efficient feedback possible, they shouldn't be the only criteria in grading. In my experience with rubrics, good rubrics are difficult to write and most of them are not good enough to differentiate between good and excellent work. This is especially true for student who deliver work which goes beyond your initial expectations. For those students to get a lower grade because they might not have fulfilled a minor point is demeaning.

Now we have the rubrics to evaluate an student in an objective way, but before this, students’ work corrections were subjetive. We didn’t have settled the accuaracy it needed. Now, the students knows which can of work have to do, how to organize, what they have to include and all details to do their best.

I think rubrics are useful for both students and teachers. For students they are clear instructions for estimating their own work and stimulate them to do their best. For teachers rubrics facilitate grading. But,I think it is hard to make good rubrics. Some rubrics I saw are too detailed and overfilled with criteria. That may be confusing for students.

I've used a lot of rubrics. Like any other assessment tool, it has to be used coherently and it has to have a right design to work. I'm a bit tired of teachers trying to use rubrics to evaluate work that can be efficiently assessed with more simple tools
I don't feel the tool is specially important. Knowing what students are supposed to learn, and being able to improve your work is much more important than the tool you use.
