All the materials used in the PDC sessions were enough, there would be oftener breaks for facilitators to feel themselves at ease enough. Furthermore, there would be much more time given for the activities. I think, it wasn't a good idea to get the actionbound activity out of the walls.

Before the session, I was eager to attend the training, but during the session I didn't feel that there was enough co-work, mostly one person/facilitator got the responsibilty of the tasks given, this is not an appropriate kind of co-working. After the session, I felt a little bit frustrated about the tasks given. The tasks would be much clearer to understand and suitable for co-working.

As a digital material, actionbound was a good way of co-work and assistance.

Our assistant teachers can use a little bit clearer way of speaking while using English language. More precise tasks can be given to attendants apart from just sharing personal comments on the subjects.

Maybe, we can have more personal tasks to do on ourselves freely.

Today's activities were better than the yesterday's ones, more energetic, clearer and useful, I think. Especially, the one about the education of someone with the help of their teacher, scaffolding, was the best one.

We remembered how a child learns a foreign language throughly by doing, observing or via any other behaviours.

Our warm-up activity made me understand the importance of learning through experience better.

Today, we prepared our lesson plans of some TPR activities and presented it to our classmates with our group members. I understood the importance of a well-planned lesson while teaching with an exact aim in a language classroom.

Later in the session, we again planned a lesson full of listening activities and presented it to our classmates again.

I think these kind of acivities can be adapted to PDC sessions, also.
We can match all the stages with PDC cycles.

While doing this, I would change and exclude some useless and time-consuming stages like prediction etc.

Some solutions I have learned through today's session can help me to solve the problems in oral skills.

We should put the utmost emphasis on practising the language by various, joyful and engaging speaking activities in the language classroom with the help of clear and positive feedbacks. This will make our students more motivated.

Songs, tongue twisters and chants activity lesson plan that was prepared today is the best example of this.

At the end of the lesson, we did a rehearsal activity including some chants. It was so fun and engaging for all the classroom.

As in today's topic, I think, using phonics in a systematic way is important, because this will let the process proceed on a regular and gradual basis.

Using shared reading with L2 children is suitable and useful, because while teaching some sounds, chunks etc. it will make it easier to give the required information in a context, indirectly.

Story telling, also is a part of the shared reading sessions. A well-planned story telling session in a reading lesson will take the children on an enjoyable vacation through the lesson, instead of dull ones.

On today's PDC session, we learned how to adapt some useful activities to PDC classes. Then we did some enjoyable activites; so there are some tips I learned from today's session to manage my PDCs positively as stated below;

-Keep the attention of facilitators alive by using some classroom management rules,

-A well planned session is so crucial,

-While grouping the facilitators before the whole-class activities, using some grouping methods may help so much to have the sessions in a well-planned flow,

-Evaluation is also a part of PDCs, so we can adapt many kind of evaluation types easily according to the interests of the facilitators.

Another question to think about and answer is that there are another elements of classroom management in my expected PDCs. For example, I can talk about the rules of the classroom and just keep a nice relation with all the attendants. Also, I can want them to tell about their experiences and solutions by learning their own classroom management methods they apply in their classes.

Furthermore, being clear enough while giving instructions in a PDCs is important while managing a class well enough.

I agree with the idea that we should always tell a facilitator/student that what they should do, not what they shouldn't do. Positive instructions always help us to give and get positive feedback mutually.

After today's PDCs, my view of assessment has changed a lot.

So, my view changed in a positive direction of deciding to use self-assesment and observation much more than the formal one. Because, they are suitable for assessing the performance better, not the production.

Especially, "3,2,1" and "Traffic Lights" method of assessment made me think and decide to use in my classes effectively, later. The presentations made by my colleagues (captains and co-pilots activity) helped me to chance my point of view, also.

The greatest benefit of being in a Professional Development Community for teachers of English in my local context is experiencing and having the chance of understanding "how to teach English as a second language in a more efficient way".

I expect the PDCs would help me to deal with planning, conducting, sharing, developing and revising the elements of my own PDC meetings with expected members by using and adapting the tips, notes, techniques, methods, criterias, cycles mentioned during the sessions.
