One aspect of the United States criminal justice system that needs to be reformed is life imprisonment for juveniles in accordance with Supreme Court rules against mandatory life without parole for children in 2012 I declare that minors convicted of murder may not be subject to a mandatory life sentence in prison without the possibility of parole and I agree with this in part because everyone in life deserves a second chance but at the same time there are young people who would not deserve this because they do not change and they continue to be a threat for society.
