My personal space time would be exercising and preaching the good new. The apps I have are useful, I have a great app called "JW Library" it has so much good information. It has the bible and good articles for teens, children and adults and it is so simple to use. In the other hand you have social media, that can take a lot of your time. I think if people aren't careful in social media you can find yourself in lots of trouble, mostly emotionally. Depending in how you use it, people from the world will comment and treat you bad if you're not careful and this can make people feel bad. While, in other hands when you have apps like JW Library the only thing you can find is good news from the kingdom and great life lesson. These kind of apps can only bring joy and happiness. Life is short and we need to enjoy the life and go outside and have fun. Like parents always say they didn't have these tech things when they were young but if you sit and listen they had a great childhood, outside playing, running, and just being kids. Now in the 20th century kids only think about phones and iPads even little kids know how to use them!!! Lets make life worth it and have a great story to tell our children and not just say that we were only in our phones doing nothing.

If you are interested in this web site its Jw.org
it has great videos for young ones and I'll like to show you one of them it's only 2 minutes long and it is called
"Who's in Control - You or Your Device"
If you have a chance visit it
link right below:
https://www.jw.org/en/bible-teachings/teenagers/whiteboard-animations/device-addiction-are-you-in-control/

Well I think that tech giants don't really support the very items they are creating because they know that some one is going to get addicted to the the of technology they are created. My personal space time is usually playing basket ball and soccer. Well the apps I use art games I barely use electronics only when I'm bored. I think it is sad that people waste most of there free time with electronics and sad tat they are using some thing that is making them happy and sad. well you can always time how long you are going to the electronic for or ask one of your parents to help you time how long you will use the electronic. Another thing that helped me was this website called jw.org there you will find information on how to control your habit of the phone and so much more. This link really helped me it from jw.org

I think tech giants don't support the items they make because they don't want people getting consumed by their items. My personal space would be playing online and playing with my family. The enriching apps I use are Youtube, Netflix, Hulu, and Instagram. I was a bit suprised to see that the apps people use the most didn't make them feel happy. I would say it would be half and half with screens controlling my life. Stopping cues that I can develop are not using any screen during meals, not using my phone in the car and just look at the scenary, and look for other non electronic activities to due.

Tech giants don't really support the items they're creating because while they're aware that using an electronic for extended periods is unhealthy for themselves they don't really care about the health of their consumers as they are more concerned with making profit. I'm personally guilty of using my phone and gaming console too much. Perhaps some of this has to do with the fact that I don't really have any hobbies after I'm finished with school. I don't have any applications I consider enriching, but I have made good friends online through Twitter and message them on a daily basis on Discord. I think more people should be able to connect online with others rather than use those websites to start petty feuds. I'm currently trying to limit my internet time as its interfering with my sleeping schedule and I encourage others to do the same for the sake of health. I wouldn't say technology is controlling my life, but it would be better to spend less time in the digital world rather than the real world. As for "stopping cues" I never use my phone during school hours and I have a period of time where I put down my phone before bed and read instead.

It is sad that in the year we are in now, everyone has their eyes stuck on their electronics. Of course tech giants themselves do not support the items they are creating because they know that it is an addiction. People need to start enjoying their life and start realizing what we are surrounded by. We are all surrounded by nature and beauty. I am not saying that that technology is such a bad thing, because it can also be very useful. Some apps help you stay active, and others hep you learn. Social media can also be addicting and unsafe. You do not know if all those people are who they say they are. Not going to lie, I have social media but my parents look over my account. I am also very selective with the people I add. My personal space time consists of mostly school and dance. I enjoy dancing, and I want to make it a profession. So, I do go on social media but I make sure I stay active. My phone consists of some enriching apps like, an activity app and a workout app. They help me keep track of my daily workout. As well as how many calories I burn etc. Though, I have social media and entertainment apps, I do not allow technology to control me, for example I do have stopping cues. Like when I am on the dinner table, I turn my off my phone. It is hard to resist that sound your phone makes when you get a notification but that is how you will learn to enjoy your life more.

Tech giants don't support what they are creating because they recognize that adults and children use their electronic devises very often. Although some of the apps that are used on these devises are useful to people they know that most of them aren't . My personal space time would be dancing , spending time with my family and friends ,and watching Netflix. The apps that I use are not all very enriching but some of them are. Instagram, snapchat, netflix, youtube, and house party , are some of the apps that I use daily, these apps might not be very enriching but they do help you learn how to be social. social media is controlling our lives because people are always saying rude comment and these rude comments are making people feel bad about themselves. to help me live my life I would never listen to the mean comments and never let them affect me.

Tech giants do not support what they are creating because they are aware that it can become a very bad habit and unhealthy to be on a device and using unproductive apps. My personal space time consists of reading books, dancing, and watching my favorite tv shows. Yes it is a bad habit to constantly watch television, which is why I also read and stay active. I encourage everyone to do the same. The apps I use are not all enriching because I admit that I do use social media often. As other kids in this generation do, I use social media apps like Snapchat, Instagram, and Facebook. While those apps are not very valuable, I do have Netflix. Even though Netflix has time consuming and unproductive shows, I also watch documentaries about history and science. The relaxation apps shown in the video were used for only 9 minutes on average while the negative social media, dating, gaming, and entertainment apps were used for 27 minutes. I think that if those that used the entertainment apps took a look at the relaxation apps they would have much better results in happiness and how they feel about life. Those who used the entertainment apps felt negative because some things posted on social media are not very nice and positive. They may have gotten discouraged because they may have seen what other people post and think that there is a certain standard for them as in how they have to look or how they have to act. The media can be a dangerous place which is why it is good to have stopping cues to let your mind breath. This relates to why tech giants do not support what they create. Stopping cues are important because they let you relax and not focusing on things that are not important and as stated in the video, they allow you to stop and look back at your life. I try to have as many stopping cues as possible. Also when I eat I do not bring my phone with me so that I could have time with my family. It is hard to stop using your phone or to stop using technology and disconnect from everything around you, but it is good to try and live a more enjoyable lifestyle.

After watching the video, it really shows that most of our time is in front of a screen. And it is true, we spend most of our time on pointless applications like social media or dating apps. But a small percentage of people do log on to a few apps that are pretty useful like, education and health applications.
One thing that I agree with 100% is that there is no stopping cues, at all. I liked how he used the example of when you watching a television show and the show ends, so you have to wait until the next week to see what happened next. With social media, you can just update the page or wait for the next notification about someone updating their status on Facebook or a celebrity who retweeted a funny picture. I definitely use a stopping cue(s) when it comes to those things. I never use my phone when I am cooking/eating dinner with my family, I certainly don’t use it when we are having family outings, and I never use it when I am doing homework or at work.
For the most part, I use the popular apps: Instagram, Facebook, Netflix, and Snapchat. Don’t get me wrong, I love getting on social media or just playing on my phone, but it’s not healthy to do it all the time. I personally do not believe that my life is being controlled by a screen because I don’t have to force myself to rush through my daily duties just to see with snapchatted me or who liked one of my pictures on Instagram.
Usually for my personal space time, I lay in bed and take a nap or I go and grab a coffee with my friends. But I don’t have a lot of personal space time due to homework and getting home late from work, but when I do, I usually take a nap.
