In fact, I'm a bit irritated that it was delayed to pander to a small minority of loud voices. We're the last middle school in the district to get this program implemented. It's already a proven success. Let's just get this done. 

I attended last night's (December 1) meeting. For me, an email with those dates and times would have been sufficient. If you feel you must have more meetings, please make them optional so parents who have problems or questions have a forum. Don't force all of us to come by vaguely promising info and then giving us a needless (for me) commercial about why the program is good. I already think it's good. I just want to move forward.

Has anyone talked about what percentage of each class should be device free. If everyone starts using it extensively, the kids would have spent way too much time on devices on any given day, plus homework also requires a lot of computer use. That is unacceptable and staff should take this into account. This option is not on the form sent to parents.
