The Eight strategies of an Engaging learning environment that we have explored are worth knowing and experiencing. I believe this very idea of  building a learning environment around multiple means of engagement, multiple modalities of instruction, and multiple means of assessment is going to bring a change my teaching and planning thought process as a teacher. 
Along with these new ways of looking at your lesson planning or module preparation the ease with which we can exploit our ideas in canvas through its rich content and embedding features are my take aways so far from this learning endeavour.

Having said that, sometimes, it can become counter productive if the learner finds it hard to deal with multiple tools being used to impart something. For me, Padlet, as a learner in this course, Padlet appeared to be a bit tricky or I may call it slightly repulsive to my likings. It might be the result of my otherwise technophobic nature, but I believe there could have been a simpler way of gathering our feedback. The six hat thing and then this ,rose, bud & throne idea was really creative, without any doubt. But somehow, I couldn't really find the activity engaging or interesting.

The patience she showcased throughout is worth appreciating.
Next, I believe it's been a confidence booster so far, I myself am a passionate teacher, but the overwhelming concerns with technology and incorporating digital tools was a bit troubling for me initially. As I was fearing that the content and the real learning process might get compromised due to this emphasis of incorporating digital tools at any cost. But so far things have gone smooth, and I am beginning to feel at home as a teacher, I have started believing that through calculated technology involvement I can bring home far more possibilities for my students than the ones I had been looking up to for my physical/ face to face classes. In a way, I have gained confidence and my doubts have almost disappeared, largely due to the efficiency and possibilities Canvas brings along, and partly because of  the way our course was designed by our mentor that proved extremely helpful in getting along with Canvas .

I never engaged with any platform like this before. I have discovered novel ways to engage students which I experienced in my behavior in this training session. Our instructor engaged us in every possible way that was fun and learning. Canvas allows you to make the course of your choice and adjust the techniques with your requirements which always starts with bundles of new ideas to engage students and maximize learning. 
I am learning to make my own course and I am excited to do this. In my graduation, I studied English for Specific Purpose. In the course, I learned the different possible needs of different students in teaching English. At that time it looked challenging but now it looks easier on this Canvas platform. Truly speaking I like everything about this program but here I have to mention that something negative which I see is nothing seriously negative here. Everything is exciting. But the attitude which I faced from my side is the seriousness of online teaching. As a student and the teacher at the same time, I feel that we are not still taking online education seriously which is making some hindrances for this program as well. But this Canvas platform has broken most of my complexities about online education and gave me new hope to deal with this kind of education seriously as well as entertaining.
