Poem: ¨For fear of little men;
Wee folk, good folk,
Trooping all together;
Green jacket, red cap,
And white owl's feather!¨

- My extended family (moms side) is very superstitious and uses homeopathic remedies. We have that in common with romantic literature, the little people, my younger siblings, and the white owls feather that my grammy found in her yard all correlate to the romantic literature.

Lyrics: ¨Mama had a baby and its head popped off
(Head popped off)
(Head popped off)
(Head popped off)
(Head popped off)
(Head popped off)¨

- My mom is very much in love with Eminem and his upbeat music. I think she likes the fast edgy-paced lyrics and the way Eminem incoprperates different things into his writing, such as the supernatural.

Picture:

- Ghosts are another focal point in my family, all of us, excluding my dad, love scary movies. The racing hearts, dramatic music, and overall suspense keep us on the edge of our seats. Much like that of romantic literature who both share a common aspect of extraterrestrial.

I do beleive there needs to be social reform in many aspects of our life.

Lyrics: It's been a long, a long time coming
But I know a change gonna come, oh yes it will

- Some things do need to change I support that but nobody is doing anything about them.

Poem: ¨I adore the individalism of the artistic soul
because if it is inspired
high levels of devine levels can be reached¨

- This poem speaks to me because I am somewhat artistic and am in the advanced classes so when I am ¨inspired¨ or challenged then my ¨devine levels¨ can be reached.

Lyrics: We sneak onto the city bus
Too blinded by what we have to notice
Your mean old laughs
And they think it's a shame

- I like this song especially because of the author Ruth B.

Poem: ¨I think that I shall never see
A poem lovely as a tree¨

- I love trees. I climb them and lay in their shade on sunny days. Sadly they are getting cut down and that is not good for the enviroment so I choose this poem to express that.

Lyrics: ¨What about sunrise
What about rain
What about all the things that you said
We were to gain¨

- This song was written by Michael Jackson, who is a ledgend by the way. I choose this song beacuse it speaks so much on our world now and how we are killing our enviroment.

Picture:

This waterfall reminds me of when my parents went camping (without me) and saw a waterfall used on the movie Twilight. I have always wanted to jump off a waterfall and my parents think I´m crazy because they think it´s dangerous. And that reminds me of the Puritans and how they viewed nature as life threatning as well.

Shs is such an inspiration and I could not miss an opportunity to include her within my school work.

Lyrics: ¨Oh, oh, oh, go totally crazy, forget I'm a lady
Men's shirts, short skirts
Oh, oh, oh, really go wild yeah, doin' it in style
Oh, oh, oh, get in the action, feel the attraction¨

- This song defines my way of thinking. It´s so iconic and it just makes me want to dance so when I hear ¨feminist¨ or ¨women¨ I think of this song.

Picture:

- The most popular women icon known today is this picture above, it represents women in a light they deserve to be in.
