Many people also put milk and cookies out for Santa. People all around the world also eat many different foods in the holidays. About 2/3 of Americans are christian however over 2/3 of Americans celebrate Christmas. Saint Nicholas (from Turkey) influenced people to start putting presents in stockings because he would put coins into socks/stockings.
