First and foremost, I believe that a plenty ofbroad knowledge onf math and science is necessary for students because the foundationcomponentsunderlyingof today’s societyiesisare based on these subjects. To be more specific, the digitalization of many fields, such as electric cars [OR: vehicles]automobiles, mobile phones and big data cannot be fully understood without having some backgroundthe knowledge of math and science to some extent. Besides, the digitalization of the society in which we havenow lived is accelerating exponentiallyed as time goes byon. In the future, it we will be impossible to not even even imagine thethe world without being inundated by a myriadion of applications of math and science. In order to To understand the complexities of both present and future society (and have the ability to pivot quickly) adjust it, I would firmly argue strongly that it is more important for students to study math and science than grammar and literature.

 

     Secondly, science and math are important academic courses in South Korea. This is because many major universities prefer applicants who havearecompetent great grades in  these disciplines, having already achieved outstanding grades in them. This has been evidenced on It has been proved and observed in many casesmultiple occasions. For instance, it is known that students who have a first grade inof math or science are more likely to enter the major prestigious  universities. On the other hand, with students who have a first grade in of grammar and literature, coupled with and relatively lower grades in  of math and science, there is a higher likelihood that they will are likely to fafail the entrance into these very same major universities. In South Korea, graduates from the most renownedof major universities tend to go on tolead be successful careers in their chosen fields future. 

In the two preceding paragraphs, I have outlined That is why I think studying science and math is the number one priority for students.

 

     Today’s debate must not be focusedlimit itself to  on the black and white notion of what is correctright or wrong, as there are many nuances to be explored on both sides.  However, what is key to examine is but more on howthe robustness of each claim being made is, based on specific pieces of evidence. Accordingly, I would argue that math and science are principalessential core subjects for students to learn for the two compelling reasons that I have givendescribed above.
