Such things have caught my attention for as long as I can remember. They’re so breathtaking that they cause me to think about everything happening around me. It is like hitting the pause button on life whenever I see something beautiful in nature.
My vision for this project is to share my appreciation of nature with others. The photography of nature, including things like flowers and plants, has been around for many years. Usually, nature photographers take photos of landscapes for their work. My work does not contain landscapes, though. It is centered on smaller things, like leaves, flowers, trees, and everything in between. The inspiration for this project came from the work of other nature photographers. The photos they took astounded me, and I want my work to have the same effect on people who choose to view my work. In my photos, I like to use many different techniques. These things range from different depths of field to the basic elements of art. Most of the time, I will look at an object or objects through the lens of my camera and see what I can do to make the subject appear unique without physically touching or moving the object. I want my audience to be able to tell that nothing in my photos were altered in any way.
My final project will show the absolutely beautiful aspects of nature. All of the photos I plan to use will not be altered in any way at all. When other people see my work, I do not necessarily need to see them be completely blown away by it. I want my work to make the audience think about a memory or a thought that they are reminded of when they see my photo. This way, the audience will connect their thought to my photo and be able to take something away from the photo.
