It's hard to find the words to express how beautiful and inspiring Dorothy was. Every time I spoke to her, I learned something new and utterly fascinating—she had so many talents and passions. One of my first real conversations with her, I discovered she played the flute, and we instantly connected over our shared love for it—I played when I was a kid, and we had a fun moment nerding out together.

Beyond her warmth and wisdom, what struck me most was her unwavering commitment to WTS and to the students she championed. She poured her heart into creating opportunities for the next generation, always fighting for equity and access. I’m so honored to have known her, even for a short time.
