I infer Harriet Tubman is called Moses because both out of God’s will led slaves to safety. Even if they were in different conditions Harriet was a runaway slave and Moses was a freed slave. According to the text,” I mean for you to be free.” God in each story led the slaves to safety he’s leading Harriet to safety so she can lead slaves to freedom. Both of their relationships with God are very close the text stats,”I am your child Lord.”They both practically had masters and God wanted to free them. Both were deeply religious because with Moses God spoke through a burning bush to get Moses to stand up to Pharaoh. God led Harriet to freedom to carry her kin and friends from the master. Moses spoke to God through a burning bush telling him to tell the Pharaoh if he doesn’t let the Israelites go many plagues will be unleashed. Then he took it into his own hands and led the israelites to freedom across the Red Sea. Well God parted the water. Harriet was about to be sold so she prayed to god and he told her to run away to freedom. When she got to safety According to the text God said,”Then go back for them.” God was telling Harriet to go back to save her kin, Harriet went back 19 times and saved 300 slaves. Both people went to save their kin and friends from slavery and cruel masters lead by God.

Harriet Tubman is called Moses because she led her people to freedom. Moses led his people out of slavery from the pharaoh in Egypt. It took numerous times to convince pharaoh to let the slaves go. Many of the times he refused so seven plagues were sent upon him. Eventually he said yes. So Moses took all the slaves out of slavery to freedom. Harriet had a relationship with god because she talked to him a lot, and god talked to her a lot to help her on her journey(s). The text states,” USE HIS LESSONS TO BE FREE. YOU WILL MEET AGAIN.” And,”SHED YOUR SHOES, WADE IN THE WATER TO TRICK THE DOGS.” That was god talking. Also God talked to Moses. According to the text it states,”The great voice of god told Moses to bring the slaves out of Egypt.” I think Harriet is a brave and strong woman for hundreds of lives on Asher 19 trips back to the south to free slaves.

Harriet Tubman and Moses have a lot of things in common, here are some of them God told both of them to free the slaves, They both helped many slaves from the Pharaohs, they both led slaves to freedom. But they also have some differences here are some reasons Moses helped slaves one time, while Harriet did it many times. According to the text it says, “

We think that Harriet Tubman is called Moses at the end of the text because Moses saved his people just like Harriet did. We know this because in the text it states,” Harriet walks till her legs ache, then she leans against a tree. Lord I miss my folks.” Later on in the text it states,”Lord, I am a stranger here; All my kin are down south. Would you like to see them? As Harriet dusts, her family’s faces appear in the wood grain. She wipes a tear from the table. I would make a home for them here. I would give my own life to free them.” Then in the text it states,” Risking her own life, Harriet returns to the dreaded South to rescue her family. But she dreams of slaves still in the yoke. She hears their groans, sees their tears, tosses and turns in her sleep. Then, God opens her eyes.” We think this because looking back at the evidence you can clearly see that Harriet Tubman is brave, strong and full of courage just like Moses.

Also Moses had a strong relationship with god and so did Harriet. God helped Moses and Harriet. Acorrding to the text on page 1it states, “God speaks in a whip poor will’s song I set the North Star in the heavens and I mean for you to be free.” Moses and Harriet are alike because Moses helped slaves be free and Harriet was a slave and she got free.

Harriet Tubman is called Moses at the end of the text because Moses helped several people in his country through slavery to find freedom from the pharaoh. Harriet helped slaves of her race find freedom from their master. Moses freed the Israelites from the Egyptian Pharaoh. Moses' relationship with god helped him set his people free because every time the Pharaoh rejected Moses' warning for a plague to happen, it happened. Eventually the Pharaoh let the slaves go because of Moses. Harriet lead over 300 slaves through the underground railroad with the help of god at her side. She talked to god in prayers and in her heart he listened and helped her free her people that he thought got treated horribly. Harriet was wanted everywhere in the south for helping slaves. The text said on page 6," In a dust cloud,

To be kept from getting murdered, Moses’s mother sent him down the river in a raft, hoppind he would be found. The Pharaoh’s wife found him, so she decided to take him into her care. But when Moses got older, he disagreed whit the Pharaoh and decided to leave. After a while God told Moses to go back and save his people. Finally Moses persuaded the Pharaoh to let the Israelites go. So moses led the slaves to freedom. Harriet is very simaler to Moses. God was always by his side and helped him free the other slaves. But the two were different at the same time and this is how I know. Moses told the pharaoh to free the slaves or there would be a punishment if he said no. Harriet Tubman didn’t tell the slave keeper to let the slaves go, he took the slaves during the night. I think that God is her contions talking to her and Moses the same.

Harriet was called Moses at the end of this text. Harriet was called Moses because, just as Moses lead his people to freedom, so did Harriet. Some people say she saved over 300 slaves and led them to the Underground Railroad. Harriet's first trip she led herself to freedom and thought to herself on how he missed her family and she went back. I know this because Harriet said "God, I miss my family, I miss my friends." This trip back to the south was Harriet's family and friends time to flee, but she came back 16 more times (she made 19 trips in toatal.) The text also stated "Harriet slept by her husband for the last time." This shows Harriet is leaving the south. I belive Harriet is similar to Moses because he helped people earn their rights.
