walking through the entrance I can smell the mouth watering chicken rice. The chattering of students in the background I could also see the long queues leading to the counter as it is lunch. I look at the stalls as I'm strolling, trying to decide what to order. I chose chicken rice while perusing the vendors since the glass display showed golden-brown chicken that gleamed in the bright light. I proceeded to find a seat because the scent was making me drool.

As I was walking up to my favourite hokkien mee stall, I noticed the aroma of the cooked seafood and the strong smoke smell. i enjoyed the soft breeze as I pass through the hawker center's entrance. People's conversations echo throughout the hawker centre. The scent of the pepper-seasoned chicken makes me feel better, but the sight of the Farnish people still battling for seats while holding food and water in their hands makes me fear that I won't find a seat for myself.

Just then, out of the corner of my eye, I spotted a table desolate of people, i quickened my pace and made a beeline towards it. Once I arrived, I noticed a tissue packet laying there, seemingly camouflaged. "Dang it!" I grumbled under my breath. My search for a table continues.
