The modern world is nearly unimaginable when 97% of the population in America has access to cell phones as of January 2024. Cell phones function by emitting an RF Radiation that is a non-ionizing variety of radiation which carries the signals. This type of radiation goes as far back as the development of radios and even TVs. Even more if it was harmful, it’s regulated by the Fcc. The technology behind your cell-phone has come a long way from being the bulky devices used in the past to the sleek smartphones used today.

I am pro-cell phone. Cell phones provide convenience, they connect people globally would wouldn't be able to see or talk to each other otherwise, and they are essential for productivity in this day and age. There are numerous studies that have proven that cellphones do not open you up to health risks or cancer. There is no reason for anyone to fear or not like the use of cellphones for this reason.

Cellphone radiation that some people think they have is fake. Phones have been tested to ensure there is no bad radiation coming out of cellphones. The FCC ensures that cell phones only produce radiation within a specific absorption rate of 1.6 watts per kilogram of body weight which. Other tests ensure that phones on the market meet these safety standards, which proves that they do not have a health risk to users.

Radiofrequency radiation is what comes out of phones, that radiation is non ionizing which means it cannot damage your DNA or cause cancer. Unlike ionizing radiation from x-rays that can cause cancer or DNA damage is used wrong. RF radiation doesn't have the energy to remove or add electrons to molecules. And to back this is years worth of tests with radios and TVs using similar radiation prove that cell phones are safe.

The data in both the previous research and the new research presented here has shown that in the case of cell phone utilization, there is not any increased risk of danger for risk of brain cancers. Research, including a 2021 study in Canada, has found that there is no positive connection between cell phone exposure and cancer, particularly of the brain – gliomas. Significantly, even though mobile phone technology has emerged and cellular phone use has increased significantly, the incidence rate of brain cancers has not increased, which goes a long way in comforting the public about the safety of mobile phones.

There are more cell phones in the world than people alive in it, and yet cancer has not been increasing. Currently, total number of cell phone subscriptions around the world is over 8.58 billion estimates for the year 2022. According to studies, if cell phone use were causing cancer or other problems, the incidence of such conditions would be increasing, however statistics show quite the opposite. It is only logical to conclude that since cancer rates have not increased, cell phones are not at all harmful.

It is essential that the issue be addressed since mobile phones have become a huge part of life in today’s society. Trying to concentrate on their safety does not allow for fear which is not called for and allows for the continuous use of it's features. This issue also points out the necessity of reliance on science based information and regulatory measures to promote safety of the public in general.

In 2022, the FCC was ordered by federal court to go back to the drawing board on the existing standards regulating exposure to radiofrequency (RF) radiation in mobile devices. This comes in the wake of a realisation that the current permissible levels of occupational and districts population exposure limits have not kept abreast with advances in technology, in particular, the rapid progress of 5G applications. It highlights the importance of updating regulations to keep pace with technological advances, ensuring that cell phones remain safe while technological advances keep happening every year.
