Glacial deposits can be used as evidence of plate tectonics because the continents used to be together, or close, because of the glaciers and the plates. For example, the glaciers were in the southern portion of the continents and then the continents moved closer to the equator which later caused warmer climates and the glaciers melted. Without plate tectonics the continents wouldn't have moved and glaciers would still be there.

Mountain chains can be used as evidence for plate tectonics. For example, the times for the Appalachian and Scandes Mountains overlap. These mountains also overlap with the mountains in eastern greenland. This tells us that the Appalachian Mountains were once a part of the Scandes Mountains. And, it also tells us that North America and Europe were connected at one point. Without plate tectonics, we wouldn’t see the mountains in different parts of the world because of Pangea.

Mountains can be used as evidence for plate tectonics because you can see where two plates collided and made two sets of mountains then moved apart. For example the only way that the scandes and the Appalachian mountains could be formed at the same time is if two plates collided then moved apart. Without plate tectonics there would be no mountains. The main places you see mountain ranges is where another set of mountains was created at the same time.

Mountains can be used for evidence? By the plates pushing together to form mountains. The Scandes and Greenland were formed, the plate tectonics broke apart. This data is proven by the Scandes and Greenland being once together, but got separated because of the plate tectonics moving. Mountains can be used for evidence for plate tectonics, by the continents once being together but are now separate, making the map look like a puzzle.
