         <description><![CDATA[<div>This comedy, regards varius themes, as:<br>-<strong>society and classes</strong>, in fact, the main character Elena, low-born, was fell in love with Bertram, countess' son, who is indifferent to he for the age, the young belong (appartenenti) two different social classes. Also, Bertram is practically her brother from another mother;<br>-<strong>gender</strong>, because there are a change of the characteristic of the comedy of the age, where, Elena, the main character takes on a traditionally masculine role.<br>-<strong>undesired marriage,</strong> Bertram<strong> </strong>is obligated to marry Elena, and, feeling trapped (sentendosi intrappolato), he runs away from his wife.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The play stars in Roussillon, where Elena, the poor orphaned, was grawn up the countess of Roussillon. Elena fell in love  with countess' son, Bertram, who is uninterested to her. Bertram went in Paris and Elena followed him.<br>The king is cured by a potion of Elena and he choose Bertram as husband for Elena, but he refuse. Bertram went to the war and says to Elena that he will marry her only if she got pregnant and wore his family ring. Elena goes in Italy and substitute herself with Diana, Bertram's new love. At the end, Bertram married Elena because she is pregnant and wears the ring.</div>]]></description>
