Because in my Experience for assessment 2 you could only really hear the wind and the wind blowing onto the trees or bushes, i asked my sister to replicate the sound of the wind using her mouth, or anything she could find that would help her to replicate the sound of wind in her opinion. she used her mouth and made a whistle and a "wooooshhhhhh" sound while opening and closing her lips to replicate the sound of the wind she continued doing this blowing softly and then she would blow harder and louder then go back to doing it softly

We did this activity second.. For this activity I asked my sister to stand up and move around freely pretending she was a tree at first she stood there and looked at me blankly not knowing what i meant so i explained "trees move around in the wind yes?" she said "yea?" so i said "so you could use your arms to act like branches and your feet can be the tree trunk does that help?" she looked at me and said "Kye trees have more then two branches i only have two arms" i laughed a little and told her to just pretend that her two arms were a dozen. She stood still for a little and waited she slowly raised her arms from her sides and started to move them in a swaying motion kind of like she was doing that arm wave dance move, she raised her arms higher and did the same thing soon enough she was waving her arms around aimlessly while her feet still stayed rooted to the ground. i asked her to stop for a minute and said "now i want you to add the sound you think is happening while the tree is swaying around like this" my sister looked at me for a second and then started pretending she was a tree again as she moved her arms she started the "whoooshhh" sound to go with her arms waving around aimlessly she was acting like tree that was blowing around in the wind. I linked this activity to how the trees moved for my experience and how children would view this and replicate it.

For this activity i just told my sister basically do a Charade of a tree blowing around in the wind. Because previously we acted as a tree blowing in the wind she understood this easily and started by standing rooted to the spot she was in with her feet, she did not move her feet or her legs and she started moving her upper body around like a worm, she raised her hands from her sides and starting waving her arms around in the arm wave dance motion again while doing the worm with her upper body but still staying rooted to the floor.

I Actually found this really hard in terms of figuring out what to do and how to link it with my experience for assessment two. For my assessment two there was not really much going on other then the trees were blowing in the wind so i had to plan my experience for assessment three based around how the trees moved and how the wind sounded. i also had to do this experience with my younger sister due to inability to do it at my workplace so because she was pretty knowledgeable the experience went pretty smoothly other then my little sister felt a little bit awkward but was just fine to act it out. Next time i would do it with more then one child to be able to see how different children move and see things, for instance my sister stayed rooted to her spot had there have been another child would they have moved their legs as well? would they have just waved their arms around? what would someone else have done differently?. i think this would be a fun activity to extend on and potentially make a game out of for children to be able to express how they think the nature moves and sounds/looks like so in the future i would like to run an activity like this in my workplace i think it would be a good way to see a child's perspective of nature and its movement.

i have linked my activity to the following resources for the following reasons.
- Nature and young children: "children have a natural curiosity and interest for nature and/or outdoor spaces unless brought up otherwise" - I have brought in that interest and curiosity and used it for a child to be able to express themselves in different ways when it comes to nature.

- The hundred Languages of children: I believe that within these experiences i have encouraged the use of a children's complex way of knowing the world around them what better way to encourage them of knowing the world around them by starting with nature and children putting themselves in natures shoes?

- Dadirri Inner Deep Listening: "dadirri. It is inner, deep listening and quiet, still awareness"
Now this one i link more to what i experienced myself on my on country visit... However i link it to this activity as well because the activity can help a child step in the shoes of nature (as stated above) and experience some peace and really let them listen as if they are the wind or they are the tree and i believe if done with the right children the children would find dadirri themselves by placing themselves into natures shoes. and sometimes even just closing their eyes.
