Hi guys! So for the starting point, I think we should have our own topic for the posts here? I suggest, to avoid double posting with the same content, you can pick your topic that you want to posts in here (ofcourse it should be related to EDUC85) and comment it below. I guess, we can only pick the lessons/ppt from the 'after midterm exam' up until the latest. So yeah, that's it! If there's any suggestion, comment it below and we'll all talk about it naman. ❤️❤️❤️

Ipad-Tablet and the Online Bulletin Board

Hey Guys! So for this posts, i'd like to share with you what I've learned regarding our lesson Ipad-Tablet and the Online Bulletin Board. Here are some steps and attached photo I've made, and I hope it can atleast help you.

First things first, go to your Google search bar and type https://padlet.com/. It will lead you to a new site that will allow you to sign up or log in.

Using your social media account, enter it by signing up or loging in. And there, Padlet Homescreen will welcome you with a bookmark for beginners, and other features button.

If you want to make your own padlet or customize it by yourself, you can click the plus (+) sign 'MAKE A PADLET' button that will lead you inside your new padlet.

Seems pretty easy right? Now you have your own Padlet or the Online Bulletin Board! But let's talk about the other existing features that you can use to design your very own padlet.

First, the 'Modify/Settings' button. From this part, you can change the title of your padlet, its description and the icon. You can also found here the unique link of your padlet. As for the appearance, you can change here your wallpaper, the color scheme, fonts, or how would you like to interact on others posts whether you want to rank it by giving stars, likes, grades or vote/unvote. You can also manage here and block unwanted posts like bad words or such.

The 'Invite People' part where you can add any accounts that you want to be the member of your Padlet. The privacy settings of the whole padlet is also in here, whether you want it to appear public or secret.

Next is the 'Change Format' where you can customize how the posts will appear on the bulletin. You can change it to Wall, Stream, Map, Grid, Shelf and anything you want to organize them.

Lastly, the 'three dots' placed on the right upper part beside your profile is where you can share or export the whole padlet in any means.

After the customizing part and anything, you can now post in your online bulletin by clicking the plus (+) button that appears on the exact screen of your padlet. Now I'm pretty much sure, we're all familiar with this because its closely similar on how we post on our social media accounts like facebook and twitter. So for posting..

You can attach a photo, links/URL and anything from Google, through the search bar. You can also capture photos or film video and attach it immediately on the post. Add location, draw doodle or record a voice clip.

Then, you can also bold fonts, slant them, write in bullet or list style and edit your whole text inside the post before clicking the 'post' button.

And that's it! You're all done. You have your Online Bulletin Board now, with posts and aesthetic designs. Now, what's the best part of this Padlet thing for me is that its changeable, after any posts and comments, you can still edit them as any times as you want. Flexible and very suitable just like an actual bulletin board we see in school.

And another thing, if you are a mobile user. I suggest you to just install the same application "Padlet" from Google Playstore instead of going to the site. It's less hustle for me and there's no any crashing screen unlike on the google site, and it's totally the same as the site so no worries. Give it a try! ((:

I hope you learn something from this post. Incase there's any unclear information and such, here's my video clip from screen recording to help. You can also check up our EDUC85 GClassroom for the program instructor's ppt regarding the topic. ❤️❤️❤️
