Marcelo Salado was a revolutionary Cuban , that fought against President Batista. Marcelo and my maternal grandmother were childhood best friends. They were so closed , that the government actually interrogated my grandmother on several occasions regarding his whereabouts. Significantly , I enjoyed this book , because it gave me hope .
