theory one: Also known as behavioural theory this theory is based on behaviours and the ways interactions happen with the environment Learning is also seen as a response to external stimuli. These behaviours are shaped through reinforcement and punishment BF skinner and John Watson emphasize that all behaviours can be conditioned. so to sum it up The behaviour theory is mainly focussed on observable behaviours as the primary indicators of learning, and also hits at all behaviours are required through conditioning and internal thoughts. Feelings are not necessary for understanding how learning occurs four steps of behavioural theory is classical conditioning a parent conditioning, reinforcement schedules and educational implications.

The second motivational theory is cognitivism

Which is a response to behaviorism, which is the first motivational theory this also emphasizes the importance of mental processing when it comes down to learning and focusses on how people perceive remember and recall information that they were taught the first step of this theory is information processing, also known as encoding storage retrieval or input maintenance and output This theory gives a great example on how we understand information and how it is transferred to knowledge. The second part of this motivation theory is schema theory which also highlights that every individual has mental framework schemas to be exact to help organize and interpret information the third part of this theory is constructivist Elements Which highlights how learning from someone with more knowledge than you can benefit you and Waze, which highlights the social aspect of learning and last, but not least implications so with this last part of the motivational theory this highlights, graphic organizers, teaching met cognitive skills thinking about one’s own thinking and promoting problem-solving activity, so basically finding a problem and making your own way to solve it

Now, the second to last motivation theory is constructivism so this theory asserts that learning actively construct their own understanding and knowledge through experience so basically connecting one’s own experience to a topic that is being taught for the first time so way of example of this is active learning, which in hands-on experience that promotes exploring problem-solving and critical, thinking the second part of this theory is social constructivism which highlights the importance of social interactions in learning and learning is viewed as a collaborative process where peers and teachers reach understanding the third concept behind this motivation theory is scaffolding Which involves temporary support to help learners achieve a higher level of education, understanding in removing guidance gradually as they gain independence the fourth concept of this one is known as educational implications, so this would be an example of teaching methods such as group work project based learning, which all can come together to make a more sociable learning environment

Last, but not least humanism humanism focusses on a whole person and emphasizes personal growth, self actualization in the importance of emotional well-being in the learning process and it very much so values learners so they can experience their inherent potential step. One of this is mass of needs suggest that individuals must satisfy basic needs psychological safety, love and belonging and esteem, which is the realization and or epiphany of potential second learning centred education so humanism is based on importance of students, interest, motivation and emotional needs. The learning environment should be supportive and encouraging and self directed learning third part this is experiential learning Carl Rogers advocated for experiential learning where students engage an experiences that promote personal growth and deeper understanding of a topic , educational implications to humanistic approaches, encourage a nurturing classroom environment, which also includes having positive relationships between students and teachers, and a lot of strategies that include dialogue, providing choices and learning, and focussing on personal growth rather than academic achievements

Identify which theory you think would be most maintaining your motivation. Discuss how this the to support your commitment to your goals.

I would think humanism would best keep me motivated and why I say that is when I’m emotionally invested and emotionally well I think I strive in all places of my environment especially when it come to my education, and I feel like I personally flourish an environment when I’m really interested in what I’m learning about and something that interests me and something that I want to enrich my knowledge in and when it comes down to having my goals and having things that I want to personally achieve for myself, I just know that when I put myself and I really focus on my learning and try to learn in a new way that just makes me strive for success. I always wanna make sure that I’m 100% in good headspace and 100% in my physical health space as well before I commit to a goal that could be life-changing and will be life-changing, and when it comes down to my commitment when it comes down to my goals, I really don’t have any excuses. I get straight to the point and I get straight to allowing myself to flourish and really blossom into the environment that I’m targeting to be in.

So the first motivation technique that I would use would have to be setting challenging, but also a realistic goal and the reason why I say this is because it’s always nice to have a challenge, but it’s always nice to be able to know mentally that I can over achieve that challenge but also do it in a matter and manner of being realistic at the same time.

My second motivation technique would have to be having a positive attitude because what I see and what other see and what we all know is when you take things and turn them into a more positive manner you’re way more motivated to go out and get it then telling yourself negative things and positivity can really reshape the way you think learn and act as a person so I think the positive way is the best way
