ONE thing I would change is the bookshelves. They are too tall for children to explore their options.

A Big Mooncake for Little Star (Caldecott Honor Book)

A little girl who has been eating a Moon cake her mother makes, but she isn't allowed to eat. So she takes little nibbles. The book shows different stages of the moon. I would love to make this into a fun activity for my children and maybe a little treat with it.

I have seen this game as a fun way to jump-start the day. I would take vocab words to play instead of the game. I want to use this game to promote vocabulary and spelling.

I would also like to help join my class together with this game.

Another activity is to take the word of the day and create a sentence using that word.

Counting Phonics

Children will find a bug and count the Phonics that each word will have, only one or two phonics. Then you put that bug in the correct basket.

I love this board as it is fun and a lot of younger ones love the song "Going on a Bug Hunt"
