The rich legacy of written and oral storytelling in Afghanistan is the foundation of Afghan poetry and literature. Afghan literature, which is well-known for its depth of philosophy and spirituality, frequently addresses issues of social justice, spirituality, and love. Jalal al-Din Rumi, a 13th-century poet whose poems transcend cultural barriers with their profound spiritual insights, is a prominent figure in Afghan literature. Poetry by Rumi, such as his well-known book Divan-e Shams-e Tabrizi, is still inspiring readers all around the world, including me as a dedicated reader of the translated version of Rumi's poetry. Afghan literature continues to be an essential component of the country's cultural legacy.

Hemmasi, F. (2017).

The vast cultural heritage of Afghanistan is reflected in the food, which offers a rich blend of flavors and customs. Specialty foods include kebab, which is well marinated and grilled, and qabili palau, rice with aroma casserole with meat, carrots, and raisins. Popular snacks are ashak, which are dumplings with a spicy filling, and sambusa, which are savory pastries filled with spiced meat or vegetables. Alluring spices like saffron, cumin, and coriander are used in Afghan cuisine to create colorful, tasty dishes. Nutritional richness is provided by traditional breads like naan and yogurt-based meals like korma.

Afghanistan Online. (2021). Afghan cuisine: Traditional foods and flavors.

Major challenges faced by Afghan refugees in Australia include mental health problems caused by the trauma of violence and conflict. Cultural and linguistic barriers make it difficult to get jobs and services, which has a negative financial impact. Their problems are made worse by social isolation and insecure housing. It can also be difficult to understand legal and administrative procedures and to navigate the healthcare system. Their capacity to raise their standard of living is restricted by limited access to chances for education and training. In order to address these problems and support Afghan refugees in adjusting and growing in their new surroundings, community involvement, and policies encouraging inclusion and equity are necessary.

Goldstein, D.

Due to limited availability of iron-rich foods and poor economic and financial conditions, Afghan refugees in Australia frequently suffer from anemia and iron deficiency. These medical conditions have an effect on day-to-day living and generate fatigue. Lack of access to healthcare may also make other blood problems worse.

By providing a thorough blood examination (FBE) for the purpose of screening for anemia and other blood disorders for all individuals with histories resembling those of refugees.

And encourage children and women who are of childbearing age to have their serum ferritin levels checked for iron deficiency. Patients who exhibit unexplained fatigue should also be considered for this screening.

Ho, E. L.-E., & Robinson, C. D. (2018).
