I want to get to know my students beyond the classroom. Learning about their families' traditions, hobbies etc outside the classroom plays an important part to understanding them in the classroom environment and what learning styles, and support they may need from me.

Something I have seen is a classroom is allowing students to find educational sources to be brought into the classroom. As a high school teacher, my hopes are that students have encounter their own sources that better resignate with them. I would like to give students the opportunity to share educational sources, books, movies, websites with the class to help build on the diversity curriculum
