I do often think about my race in the sense of how i can embrace it more.

One of my friends when up and decided to draw me and decided it would be funny to draw a monkey and everyone laughed at it and took it as a joke. I tried to talk to one of my friends about it but she said that “ it isn’t that deep” and unfortunately i just let it go. I think that was the first time i really became awear of my race.
