What I read : I read that Anansi had to get the stories from Nyame and the bo had to get his stories from a stone both are obviously fictional characters. What I know : I know that the stone and Nyame are fictional characters they cannot be real because animals don't talk and stones can't talk either. I also know that both the lead characters sacrificed something. Inference : I can infer, that both Anansi and the boy had to sacrifice something of their own in order to exchange them for the stories to tell so that I can be more entertaining for people that existed at the time. My background knowledge is that I know back then people didn't get food for themselves they got it for the whole tribe. I also know that not everything free like if you go shopping you have to pay a price for it or if you borrow money from someone you have to pay it back.
