In this video above, I was testing out a combination which was my first task in order to make my start with choreographing. The theme for this combination was twistoflex, a technique within popping.

In this video I cleaned up my concept and added a freestyle at the end to see if I created any other ideas for myself.

This video shows improvement from my previous recordings. I created a rough start to my piece and my aim here was to demonstrate the musicality of my chosen song. I also managed to develop a theme with my hand staying in one place representing the girl that the artist of the song is talking about. Eventually I started expanding on the creativity of that stimulus.

I also realised that my concept that I had been working on from previous videos wasn't working as well as I had hoped for so I was trying to fit it into the routine as you can see in the video.

In this video I moved onto the first chorus of the song. I wanted this part of the dance to be more fluid and less stiff which is why I decided to implement waving.

After the chorus I continued to freestyle to once again see if I liked anything and could use something I came up with.

In this recording I cleaned up my opening of the track an implemented some more ideas that I had come up with which showed the musicality of the song and flowed nicely all together.

Each member of our group represents an emotion so we decided to show this with bandanas and shoe laces combined with the colour we thought best represented that emotion.

My group and I also added voice recordings in between parts of the performance to help the audience understand more about our piece. We choreographed to these voice overs too, here is an example in one of our rehearsals.
