If you do not know anything about photosynthesis than it is a great video to watch. It breaks down the process for the simple minded easily as well.

I picked a Southern grape fern as my plant. A little bit about the plant is that it sends up new frond in fall which then dies back in spring. It turns a bronze color after frost unless covered by leaves. The scientific name is Botrychium biternatum.

With its harsh weather and scarce resources, the tundra is one of the most dangerous biomes in the world. The melting of the permafrost as a result of global warming could radically change the landscape and what species are able to live there. Ozone depletion at the North and South Poles means stronger ultraviolet rays that will harm the tundra.

There were a lot of positives to the neolithic revolution but there were also a few negatives to it. Some positives to this revolution was that there was an increase in farming, people started to settle down in towns, food surplus, and new technology. The negatives were gender inequality, diseases, and land erosion. There were more positives than negatives and helped our world evolve.
