If modern tech existed in 1700, then it is probably rational to assume that the world has a population similar to today's, and basically everything that happens now happened then, as a ground foundation. This means that all past events still happened the same way, but in an earlier time frame.

I somewhat disagree. If you take a look at the video I posted titled, "Advancement in Technology: Merging the digital world with real-life interactions," you would know that Pranav Mistry invented that tech in 2006. My question is - Why hasn't this been expanded in such a way that more people know about it? It worked so efficiently, and 2006 is BEFORE the 1st iPad came out. Mistry even made it into a more compact, marketable product! Space exploration is hard to question. Space is so ever-changing, that we can never really be sure what will happen next.
