         <description><![CDATA[<div>Chlamydia pneumonia is a species of Chlamydia, and obligate intracellular bacterium (Can't reproduce outside <strong>of </strong>their host cell, which means that the reproduction of the parasite is completely dependent on intracellular resources). that infects humans and is a major cause of pneumonia. The bacteria cause illness by damaging the lining of the respiratory tract including the throat, windpipe, and lungs.          <description><![CDATA[<div>"High Prevalence of Mycoplasma pneumoniae and Chlamydia pneumoniae in Children with Acute Respiratory Infections from Lima, Peru " A consecutive cross-sectional study conducted in Lima, Peru from May 2009 to September 2010. The study was to determine the prevalence of Mycoplasma and Chlamydia pneumonia in Peruvian children with acute respiratory infections. A total of 675 children were tested. The result was Mycoplasma pneumonia was detected in 25.19% (170/675) and Chlamydia pneumonia in 10.52% (71/675).
