This I Believe
Mr.Brickey asked us to write an essay about what we believed in and what was true to us. This artifact was special to me because it was a reminder of what I stand for. I took time and enjoyed writing about being an  individual and the importance of it in my life.

Mrs. Acevedo had us write a persuasive essay about any topic we wanted to do. I chose animal rights. I put effort into writing this and persuading the reader about how we shouldn’t support these causes. It was a topic that was very close to me and I can say I am proud of it and I put a lot of time and research into it. I learned new thing that I had previously not know about this topic.

We did a slide show about a trip we would like to go on after high school. My friend and I chose San Francisco. We took our time to calculate the costs of gas, food, hotels and activities. It made me aware of how if you tweak things inorder to save,, a trip like this is actually doable for me after high school. 

I enjoy taking pictures. I just love the way you are able to freeze time, capture the moment and make it a lifetime memory.

This was a personal achievement. I began an online business at the age of 17 and have not only grown it, but grown with it. At one point I was about 12k in debt with my mom because she was letting me borrow money so I could start up my business. I managed to pay her back in under a year and began to increase my inventory with the profit I was getting out of it. It taught me how to be responsible with my item shipments and communication with the customers to make sure they were satisfied. Although I sell vintage, thrifted, recycled clothes/items and branded clothing/shoes, I do plan on starting my own line of clothes one day. The picture below is my every day job life packaging my orders and getting them in.
