#1)Well if I were to describe the events that led up to the Plessy vs.Ferguson, I would say that, After the poor way Homer Plessy was treated on the Tran. Plessy decided to go to the supreme court about the unfair way he was treated, Plessy stated he has a right according to the 13th & 14th amendment. But the supreme court said they did which allowed every other stat to want too make there own law which led to lots of death...

#2) In my own opinion i would say that the states shouldn't have the right to govern them self. Because then that would just lead to stats being more independent them united, This is my opinion.

#3) Well he U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, based in New York, ruled in 2006 that police can look in closed containers while conducting a search. New York state courts had held a decade earlier that police must stop if ownership of the container is unclear.
