I find online meetings interesting for children who interact remotely with their etwinner friends. Currently I am an eTwinning Ambassador and conduct training for the Lombardy regional plans

• Description: Partner up with a fellow participant to create a comprehensive digital repository of learning resources, including lesson plans, activities, worksheets, and multimedia materials, covering various subjects and grade levels.

• Benefits: By pooling our resources and expertise, we can curate a diverse collection of high-quality educational materials that can be shared and utilized by educators worldwide.

• Implementation: We can use a collaborative platform like Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive to organize and share the resources, categorizing them based on subject, grade level, and type of resource. Additionally, we can create a website or blog to showcase the repository and make it easily accessible to educators.

I have also had National and European Quality labels for some of the projects I have been involved in.

My students like having the chance to work collaboratively with other students from other countries and doing online meetings with them.

I have used Etwinning many times to find partners for new projects and to support the implementation of Erasmus projects.

I have never used it as a virtual exchange and twinning tool, but always as a function of carrying out student mobility

eTwinning projects are bridges across Europe, fostering cultural awareness and collaboration. Students learn more about other countries' cultural heritage, understanding and appreciatiating traditions and customs. By working together on projects, schools build connectionsand promote a spirit of unity and shared learning.

Here is my project idea for a collaboration:

Project Goal: "Digital Citizenship in Action". We would focus on online safety and digital skills, which is a common challenge.

What we do: Students from partner schools would co-create digital resources (like videos or quizzes) to teach their local community about safe online behavior. This also gives them great practice with foreign languages and critical thinking.

Tools: We would use Canva or Padlet for creating content, and the TwinSpace for sharing everything.

This kind of collaboration helps us share our best practices and gives students a meaningful, real-world project.

🌍 The Importance of Being Part of eTwinning

eTwinning is not just a project platform — it is a learning community that connects teachers and students across Europe and beyond.
Being part of eTwinning means discovering innovative teaching methods, engaging in international collaboration, and helping students become active, responsible global citizens.

Through eTwinning, students learn that learning does not stop at classroom walls; it expands through communication, creativity, and cooperation.
Teachers, in turn, find inspiration, professional growth, and a sense of belonging in a dynamic European network.

By integrating digital tools such as Padlet, Canva, Kialo, and Genially, eTwinning projects promote digital literacy, teamwork, empathy, and intercultural understanding — all essential skills for the 21st century.

💻 Project Title: Digital Etiquette Heroes

🌱 Theme:

Netiquette (online etiquette), digital citizenship, respectful communication

🎯 Objectives:

The project aims to raise students’ awareness of digital responsibility and respectful communication in online spaces.
Students from different countries and schools will work together to explore what online respect and ethical behavior mean across cultures.
They will produce case studies, animations, and posters that demonstrate positive digital interaction.
The ultimate goal is to develop students’ digital citizenship, empathy, and intercultural understanding.

🧰 Digital Tools:

• Padlet → idea sharing and collaborative discussion

• Canva → poster and infographic creation

• Kialo Edu → examples of ethical digital discussions

• Genially → interactive final presentations

🧩 Project Activities:

1. Online and classroom discussions about good and bad online behaviors.

2. Creation of case studies illustrating online communication challenges.

3. Design of digital posters or short animated clips promoting “Netiquette.”

4. Sharing and commenting on partners’ work via a joint Padlet wall.

5. Final exhibition created in Genially — “Netiquette Guide for Teens.”

• An international digital guide or poster exhibition titled “Netiquette Guide for Teens.”

• Development of digital literacy, collaboration, empathy, and critical thinking.

• Strengthened connections between schools and teachers through eTwinning cooperation.

💬 Conclusion:

Through Digital Etiquette Heroes, students don’t just learn about online behavior —
they practice collaboration, creativity, and digital ethics in real, meaningful contexts.
This project perfectly embodies the spirit of eTwinning: learning together, creating together, and growing together beyond borders.

This could be an excellent opportunity to begin a fruitful collaboration and to create meaningful work together.

The idea would be to create a collaborative learning experience, for example around a theme like “Healthy Living” or “The Human Body”. Students could work in mixed groups and use tools like Padlet or Google Docs to co-create content, while also using AI tools to explore questions, generate ideas, and reflect on their learning.

The focus of the project would be on:

• Collaboration and communication skills

• Critical thinking (evaluating AI-generated content)

• Digital and AI literacy

At the end, students could present their work in a shared digital space and reflect on how collaboration and technology supported their learning.
