         <description><![CDATA[<div>Aim: To allow the students to get a better understanding of why different items float and why some sink.<br><br>There will be a large bowl filled 3/4 with water and the students will pick various items to put into the bowl to see if they will sink or float. They will record the results on a chart.<br><br>Timing: 20 minutes.<br>Resources : Bowl, various classroom items, water and paper.</div>]]></description>

Each group will get 10 pictures of items in which they will stick the images under whatever title they think is suitable to each item.<br><br>Time: 15 minutes<br>Resources: Paper, printer &amp; blue tack.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Aim: to help the students gain knowledge about density and to have the ability to test density.<br><br>The students will gather around a table and they will engage in the experiment by firstly adding the syrup into the glass, then the washing up liquid, the coloured water and finally the cooking oil before adding in each item in the video shown previous such as blueberries, tomato and a cork to test which item is the most dense.<br><br>Time: 15 minutes.<br>Resources: Glass, food colouring, oil, syrup, tomato, blueberries and a cork.</div>]]></description>
