         <description><![CDATA[<div>The circulatory system is made up of your heart and blood vessels. The blood vessels that take blood from the heart are called arteries, these arteries get smaller as they travel away from the heart. The small arteries that are connected to the capillaries are called arterioles. The blood vessels that take blood towards the hearts are veins, they get bigger as they go towards the heart. The smallest veins are called venules. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Blood moves from the heart, to the artery, then to the arteriole, capillary, venule, veins then the heart. this is called circulation. There are two types of circulation, the systemic and pulmonary. Pulmonary circulation transports blood drained from its oxygen from the heart to the lungs and returns oxygenated blood to the heart. Systemic circulation is the movement of the blood from the heart and throughout your body to provide oxygen and nutrients to the tissues while bringing deoxygenated blood back to the heart.<br>Its purpose is basically to transport nutrients, wastes, hormones, and gasses and move blood through the body.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Diseases and illnesses affecting the system</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Disorders of the circulatory system generally result in diminished flow of blood and diminished oxygen exchange to the tissues. One of the most common diseases of the system is arteriosclerosis, which is from the growth of fatty deposits in the arteries. Another disease, hypertension, commonly called high blood pressure, is often linked with arteriosclerosis. Hypertension makes the heart beat faster and may lead to such complications as a heart attack, a stroke, or kidney failure. The biggest issue is heart attack or a stroke. It's because it is caused by not enough blood is being giving through your whole body at all times. This can damage blood clots and blood vessels. You can get surgery to help or fix the problem or you can take various medicine and or just rest until the problem is better or completely cured.</div>]]></description>
