Food waste started in the 1950s to 1970s USA started to buy food from different countries because they were wasting a lot of food. Small farms that were making  the food by family owned businesses were going out of business. The big farms that companies owned were the reason small farms were going out of business. Usa had to pay a lot of money to get food from companies. The small farms were less expensive and Usa could buy them. More than 54 countries were wasting food, 13% of that from restaurants. The most food waste was in 2019 the average was 267 pounds of food was wasted. Almost 3 billion people can't buy food because they don't have jobs or people make food but don't donate the food they waste.

Countries in Africa don't have food and need help while other rich countries are wasting it. The world has wasted ⅙ of the food that is produced. People think that foods that come from farms are not good because they think it has chemicals in them. 13% of food is wasted in restaurants. Humans are not really doing anything. The government does Something of the leader of the country does something.  Usa was wasting so much food they started to beg countries to give them food. Restaurants can try to help people that don't eat all of their food instead of throwing it away give it to homeless people. People that try to give food to the homeless, because  they think there are chemicals in the food. People order so much food but don't eat it all and take it home than don't eat and then they trash it away.

The second pillar is the one that helps people find jobs so they can eat. The 3 pillars are the ones that help people to eat food everyday. People waste food because they don't realize that poor people don't have food. People think everyone has food, money and thinking they are rich. Some people don't watch the news. People that do watch the news can see how many people are starving everywhere. Most kids would waste food because sometimes they don't eat everything they get. If they get a burger and finish half of it and throw the rest away in the garbage can they are wasting food and that is what happens a lot.

If you buy a lot of food then it will take a couple of days to eat it all. Then some people don't eat and when they start to throw trash away they get all of the food they didn't eat. Another problem would be going to restaurants and ordering a lot. It would be the same thing. There are 3 pillars that can help with this problem. All 3 of the pillars can solve the solution on food waste. They all can help in giving people food. It can help with getting people jobs. It can help the economy better if you dont waste food a lot. This can solve all of the problems with food waste that is in the world. Some people are trying to solve problems by doing the same thing.
