         <description><![CDATA[<div>Mountain chains can be used as evidence for plate tectonics because you can see where some places go together. As an example, North America and Europe mountains look like they were together but got torn apart. Also Scandes and Greenland and Appalachian mountains were  formed at the same time without tectonic plates we wouldn't have different continets  and mountains.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Glacial deposits can be used as evidence of plate tectonics because of where the glaciers were found. For example the only way to explain that glaciers being found in Africa and South America from the same time period would be that they were connected at one point. Without plate tectonics these two continents would still be connected.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Glaciers can be used as evidence for plate tectonics because  there are glacial deposits in diffrent places on diffrent continents and they are the sam glacial deposits so obviosuly they were once connected. Without plate tectonics eveerything wouldnot have been connected.</div>]]></description>

For example, the only way to explain the formation of the mountains is that the mountains that were once together are now split up.
