During this period of imprisonment, of imprisonment in this dark and cold cell, my mind is starting to slide into solitude and total madness. They locked me up because I'm sick, because I'm a danger for everyone and myself. Inside my cell there is not even a bed, the only object present is an old piano: it is strange, the colors of the keys are upside down and then there are also two keys missing. Today is the third day and I tried to play this old piano: its notes cross me and make me feel better, like when I was not sick. Today is the thirteenth day: I can't stop playing: as if that piano were a drug. Twentieth day of quarantine: the doctors who have locked me up want to visit me: they think I'm healing. they let me out: the visit went well I was healed. twenty-fifth day: I am sick again, this time they have changed their cell to lock me in: there is no plan here. thirtieth day: I am getting worse and I think I will die soon. thirty-first day: I was transferred to the old cell with the piano. I enter but the piano no longer sounds and I slowly go out with him.

My name is Alexa but everyone calls me 163 ... It's been 2 months since I'm here and I'm sure I made a good choice. I can't tell you where I am, but you must know that some doctors are secretly testing a Covid-19 vaccine on many people, and my parents accepted my decision and let me be one of those ... I didn't want to leave my family and it hurt me, but now that the cure is taking effect,I’m very happy, even if it will only be available in 9 months. It‘s impossible for me to keep something so important hidden. I‘m looking for a way to send this letter and I‘m sure that the sacrifice of other people as me will save the life of many people and that everyone knows the thruth.

Nobody in the world, even the most catastrophic, have thought that a virus would have locked all humanity and cause thousands of casualties. Everyone is locked in their houses, without going out or or seeing their relatives. I do the same things every day: I take the dog for a walk, I rarely go shopping, but I spend most of my time at home having online lessons with my teachers, and watching TV series or making video calls with my friends on my spare time. I hope this period ends soon and that even if technology, thanks to video calls, help us to be closer, it can never replace the physical contact that every person needs from time to time.

I finish studying at 1 p.m. because I have lunch.
I usually eat pasta and vegetables. After lunch I play videogames until 4 p.m, then I play to the piano. Around 5 p.m. I do physical exercise to keep my body fit. At 7 p.m. I have shower and at 8 o' clock I have dinner. After dinner I watch a film and then I go to the bed.
This is my routine and in this period I learned more about my parents.
I hope this can end as soon as possible and in the end it will be all right.

it was the 17th of march, my brother’s birthday. (That was the only time I got ready since the quarantine started). My parents and I prepared a little cake and some pizza for him. The party was a little sad because there weren’t his girlfriend, his friends and the whole family; but my mother, my father and I did our best to made him happy: we cooked his favorite food and played his favorite music. At the end it wasn’t really bad and my brother was happy for his 20 years.
Fabiana Agliata

I used to go to school 1 month ago and now everything seems different. "Stay at home" is the motto of this particular period afflicted by the pandemic COVID-19 and now the boredom dominates my days. These quarantine weeks are fullfilled with things to do like helping your parents, discovering new things and doing a lot of homework. I consider this quarantine and this elongated time at home not that bad because in my opinion in every single day we learn and discover new things everyday and now in particular we're able to do things we never expected to do. By the way, for most people, staying at home is very boring and i can't blame them but staying at home we help each other fighting the virus and reduce the contagion among our family and community.

This is a very difficult period for humanity and we have to stay at home for our safety. So every single day is like the others, there is nothing that differentiates them. I’m trying to differentiate them, doing something different every day, but it’s very difficult. My routine hasn’t changed much since the classic weekend before quarantine, but not being able to leave the house made my days monotonous and sad.Films, books and friends are literally saving me, they are helping me get through this quarantine. COVID-19 is a really big problem, and we have to fight it by staying at home.

Every day it increase its size, but when I leave my house to throw the trash, it starts to fade and at the end it disappears. I’m the only one who can see it. If i look at the window, focusing on the dot, it’s like being hypnotized: I can see the last weeks before the quarantine. It became like a ritual to me: it’s the only method to accept this situation. My mom once saw me: she told me i seemed like i was in trance. When i get out of this state, the dot is increased, it’s a big black hole on my wall.
