And i think that the elders aren't going to know what to give him as a job because he wouldn't like any of the normal jobs so i think that he will have a different job than anyone else. I don't think that Jonas took the pills and i also think that Jonas is going to become the new giver once he gets older. I think that Jonas is going to become the receiver because he saw the apple do something in the air or in more simple terms, rot and that was going to happen in the future and i also think that he is going to be the first receiver in a long time.

Like a bike when your 9 or your independence. That's something for your parents to decide, not the Elders , a random group of old people. I would never take that pill. I had my bike before 9, I don't want to rely on someone all the time where. I also want cars in a community because they're much faster. But no cars wouldn't be the end of the world. Because cars bring oil and gas. This reminds e of one of those movies where they tell that character that they're a queen or something. And you have to defeat an evil sorceress or something. I think Jonas feels scared uncomfortable but special. I agree with Decorah about the apple. I feel bad for Jonas because he didn't believe in himself. He thought their was a mistake about him. I have the same question as Haven about do they even have birthday's. I'm happy for Jonas because I think it's important to feel different and special. Because if everyone felt the same nothing would really be different, this community is very fair to other people but sometimes people don't like fair because then everyone would have the same things and no one would feel special. And again it's important to feel that about yourself because then people will doubt their selves, and an example of that is when he was selected to be the receiver he immediately thought it was a mistake because he didn't believe himself. I agree with Nicole that he's not aloud to talk about his dreams because he can see the feature. Jonas gets more rights than other now and I think that's not fair, the receiver job makes the community not fair when the goal is to be fair. That proves that even if we did take the pill it still wouldn't be perfect.  Jonas is going against what he was taught sense he was a kid.
